Lately I've been making collages out of old National Geographic and Red Bulletin magazines (they both have great texture and color). Note that word: COLOR.
I love how a vey little color can go a long long way.
I'm either a schoolgirl with blunt scissors and a glue stick, or Matisse in his later years. Ha.
Since I've decided to post again, I'll alternate collage with recent ballpoint pen drawings ... a meditation that continues to work for me.
All pieces are about 8 inches square. I'm digging the intimacy between small work and the viewer. And, as usual, I can take it anywhere.
