I wouldn't keep uploading these grid pieces... (if you're new to the site, there will be 60 in all, making a large drawing of a stand of live oak trees on the Chesapeake Bay) if I had anything else. Why is it that when I have no time for making art I have 8,000 ideas for making art?

Your not the only who experiences the idea thing. I think ideas are not as limited and so we extrapolate quite quickly but the actual work involves labour and we also struggle against our own limitations. It is sometimes very difficult to produce art although we a thrilled with the prospect, process and sometimes the end result.
anticipation of the work...sometimes that is half the fun. You have beautiful drawings.
