Today I got out the graphite and
paraffin... it was a beautiful day and I could work outside. What I envisioned was something simple, Zen-like. What I got was not that.
But the drawing I want sometimes occurs along the way while I'm drawing something else.
Still intrigued by what's underneath.

I love pencil that has been altered and then redrawn. How does the paraffin work with the pencil - does it act as a solvent? I have done many works with EE pencil, acrylic and turpentine washes on paper - it creates accidents and diverse textures. All the best with your work.
I can see the graphite on your hands
moving over the paper
like new breeze on glassy water
hard edged gusts filled with dark light
and ripples
nice dirty drawing.
