I was thinking of this as an under drawing (like an under painting), but now I will postpone its 'shroud.' Sometimes I have to live with a piece for awhile to know what it needs.Today I am thinking about how everyday drawings reference everything else: other artists (Vija Celmins), stuff in my pockets, litter on the beach. And then there's that whole interior landscape thing going on. It's best when all my worlds collide .
